other ways to get there

You can of course reach Allex by other public transport or simply by car.

From Brussels, it's 3000 km and approximately a 32 hour drive via Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and North Macedonia. This route traverses beautiful landscapes across the Balkans.

Another option is to drive to Venice or Ancona, also in Italy, and from there take the ferry to Patras. Take the night ferry, then you will sleep most of the crossing and drive the last 4 hours to Allex well rested.

For train enthusiasts, you can travel from Brussels to Athens in just over two days. From there, you can take the bus to Kalamata or Koroni. However, keep in mind that you'll need to rent a car to reach Allex.

house rules

If the previous tenants have left on the same day as your arrival, the maintenance team has until 16:00h to prepare the house for your stay. In principle, you can move into the house on the day of arrival after the maintenance, but please keep in mind that this can sometimes be after 16:00h.

1.   visitors and functions

a)  Parties and (large) gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at Villa Allex.

b)  Villa Allex is located in the heart of a nature reserve. Please respect the surroundings and avoid making unnecessary noise by playing loud music

2.   garbage and recycling

a)   Guests are to dispose of Garbage and Recycling in accordance with the usual practice at the Vacation Rental (as set out below in the general chapter) in the allocated trash cans, and excess rubbish must not be left in not dedicated area’s.

3.   security

a)  Any time Guests leave the Vacation Rental, it is their responsibility to ensure all windows and doors are closed/locked to maintain security and prevent  wind-rain and water damage.

b)  Guests must switch off lights, air conditioning and close the two sun shades when not needed in use. It is not permitted to leave the air conditioning on and the sun shades out when Guests are absent from the Vacation Rental.

4.   balcony, deck areas and swimming pool

         a)  Guests must supervise babies and children at all times when using the deck, balcony and swimming pool areas.

5.   smoking

a)  Smoking is NOT permitted inside Villa Allex.

b)  Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly (i.e. in ashtray provided) and not thrown on property grounds.

6.   pets

a)   Pets are NOT permitted at Villa Allex.

7.   damages and breakages

a)  All Damages and Breakages must be reported to villa.allex@outlook.com as soon as reasonably practicable. Failure to report them will likely result in a higher penalty deduction from the security deposit. Damages that can do bigger harm to the house must be reported immediately to the emergency contact mentioned above.

2.   compliance

a)  In case of breach of any of these House Rules, the Owner reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy the Vacation Rental.

At the end of your stay:

• On the day of your departure, please leave the house the latest at 10h30.

• Please leave every room tidy. Do not leave dirty dishes, make sure the appliances are clean.

• Please leave the towels and bed linen in the linen basket placed in the salvage / washing room (next to the bathroom downstairs).

• Make sure all trash is dumped at the dumpster as described below at the see “General”.

• There is a cleaning service included.

• For the door downstairs, close the door from inside and leave the key on the door.

• Close the front door with the other key and place this one in the key safe (do not forget to mix up the dial numbers so no one can open it).

• The security deposit is fully managed via the platform you made the booking on. There is a checkup of the house after you leave. As noted in the house rules, please contact us on villa.allex@outlook.com when you caused damages. We count on your honesty.

garbage

There is a garbage bin located under the sink. You can store full garbage bags in the wooden container outdoors located close to the outdoors white stairs.

Note that there is no collection of garbage at the house itself. Garbage containers of the municipality are located on fixed locations (mostly along the road). We recommend to frequently dump your garbage bags. The closest spot is on the road from Koroni to Vasilitsi at Vasilitsi.

Important

• Check the fuse box / cabinet to verify if all fuses are turned on. The fuse box is located after the kitchen on the right side of the bathroom door on the upper level.

• Mosquito screens are provided on the windows and doors. Always use this!!! Even if it is for a while. You are in a nature reserve with unique flora and fauna, but these are best left outdoors.

• Kitchen cabinets: push to open them

• THE TAP WATER IS NOT DRINKABLE! (this is rainwater). Also do not use this to brush your teeth.

• Nearby there is a spring with drinking water. You pass it every time you go out. In the kitchen there are 2 water bottles for tapping water. You can of course also buy bottled water, but the first option is environmentally friendly.

• There is a frigerator with freezer in the kitchen.

• Kitchen appliances: oven, stove, dishwasher, … The manual of these appliances can be found in the cabinet next to the pellet stove.

• Spices, groceries, coffee, soap, dishwasher tablets, …

• Do not hesitate to open the cabinets to see if there are some items you can use. Feel free to use them but please, do check the expiry dates. We cannot guarantee that everything is still edible.

bathroom

• Please limit your time in the shower. Water is very scarce in this area.

• It is allowed to flush the toilet paper.

bedroom

• Each bedroom has an AC installed. Each controller can be found next to the door. Please don’t leave the A/C on the full day.

• In each room there is an extra set of bed linen provided in the closet. You can always use a new set during your stay.

washing room / salvage room

• You can make use of the washing machine if needed.

• There is an extra fridge with freezer. Note that this fridge can be unplugged. If you need some extra fridge space, you can plug it in and make use of this fridge/freezer during your stay.

• Please do not eat or drink in the pool.

• Dimitris usually comes to clean the pool on Saturday mornings. He is a friendly guy who is happy to have a chat if you are interested.

sun awnings / sun shades

• The sun awnings can be opened and closed with a controller.
  The controller for the awnings on the upper terrace is located inside next to the right sliding window.
  The controller for the awnings for the terrace at the pool is placed next to the downstairs door.

• Please close the sun awnings each time you leave the house or when you go to sleep .

Price

During the summer period from March 1 to October 31:  

• € 1750.00 per week (7 nights) 

• € 275.00 per night/day

During the winter period from November 1 to February 28:

• € 875.00 per week (7 nights) 

• € 135.00 per night/day

During the summer we ask for a minimum stay of 5 days, during the winter period a minimum of 10 days.
