General presentation:
This Nature House is suitable for 8 people. There are 4 bedrooms with air conditioning (bed linen provided), 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living room and furnished terrace with swimming pool. (4x8m) An extra cot and baby-high-chair are also available.
The road to the house: +/- 1h30 drive from Kalamata International Airport. The last 6 km to the house is a gravel road. With some caution, an SUV is not necessary, but it is easier.
The water from the tap is rainwater. Nearby there is a well with drinkable water. You pass it every time you go out. In the kitchen there are 2 water bottles for tapping water. You can of course also buy bottled water but the first option is more eco-friendly.
The house is situated in the middle of thousands of hectares. large 'Natura 2000' area. (11,200ha bird habitat and 122,900ha marine area) There are tens of kilometers of hiking trails between the flowery grasslands, scrub, forest and olive groves. The peace, quiet and natural wealth make it a unique place for the nature lover and silence seeker. The place is meditation in itself. If you are uncomfortable with silence, get hysterical because of a wasp or ant or if you are traveling to party, you have come to the wrong place.
300m in front of the terrace is 160m lower the Ionian Sea with the island of Venetiko to the southwest. To the east you can see the Taygetos Mountains with the snow-capped peaks of the 2,407m high 'Profitis Ilias' until the end of April. There is a 180° sea view.
The closest village is Vasilitsi which is a 20 minute drive and has a mini market and the excellent 'Restaurant Nikos'. The medieval town of Koroni with restaurants, shops and a supermarket is a 30-minute drive away.

The kitchen and living room are located under the roof in a single space. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc. (list equipment on page bottom)
There is a dining table for eight people, along with all the necessary cutlery. A highchair is also provided.
In front of the sliding window overlooking the sea is a sofa and a reading corner with a rocking chair and a bookcase containing about 100 books, mostly in Dutch, but also some in English and German. On the other side of the sofa is a pellet stove.
The living room provides access to two bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as a staircase leading down to the house, which can be closed off with a child safety gate.

The pool is 8 by 4 meters and is what's called an infinity pool. The side facing the sea seemingly disappears into nothingness.
The first part is 1m deep and gradually increases to a maximum depth of 1.80m.
The water is unheated.
The automatic filter system disinfects the water using chlorine. The machine room is located under the terrace next to the pool.
Once a week the maintenance man (Dimitris) comes to check everything and remove solid particles with the water vacuum cleaner.

This south-facing terrace offers a 180° view of the Ionian Sea and the island of Venetico.
It is accessible through the door on the ground floor hallway and a bedroom.
It is a covered veranda with a dartboard and the possibility of a small table with four armchairs and four lounge chairs. The uncovered area is located to the left, right, and in front of the pool.
A retractable, electric sunshade is provided between the veranda and the pool.

This terrace is located above the poolside veranda. It is also south oriented and offers also a 180° panorama of the Ionian Sea and the island of Venetico.
It is accessible through sliding doors in the living room and one of the bedrooms.
It features a dining table with eight chairs and four armchairs with a small table.
A retractable, electric sunshade is also provided.

This terrace is north oriented and you can see the setting sun and it is therefore ideal for sitting during dinner.
It is accessible through the front door and can be served from the kitchen through a sliding window.
